PLANTING FRUITS TREES FOR FOOD

This part of the project is the vision to provide more than 5000 trees for 4200 + housing units and structures in Dambai, the capital to benefit the population.

Under this unique program common fruits trees found both in the Dambai area and throughout Ghana and known to do well such as mangos, guavas, avocados, oranges, sour sops, guavas, lemons, cashews, tangerine, cocoanut etc, will be planted.

it has been desigend that each structure will have at least a seedling. However, bigger homes or places requiring more plants will be provided as required.

Before planting homes owners and the general public will be engaged and sensitized about the project.

Also land lords and and head of places will be cotacted to find their choice of plants before we proceed to plant.

This planting will be handled by our well trained planting team under the supervision of our Agronomist. After the plantg is doe there will a protective fence for the plants as in figure 1 bellow

The fence will be made from galvanized wire mesh as in figure 2.

The final work will be held in place by eight (8) pieces of a 12 mm iron rods see figure 3 and secured by some pieces of a quarter binding wire figure 4.
